The Difference Between KitchenAid Artisan Vs Classic Stand Mixer

With different brands and classes of stand mixers on the market, KitchenAid is one of the renowned brands that offers some of the best small stand mixer models at affordable prices in countries such as Singapore. While most at-home chefs find it difficult to find the right stand mixer for their kitchen, knowing how often you will use it and what you will be using the appliance for can help you choose the right one. That being said, when shopping for a small stand mixer for your kitchen, generally it comes down to two of the KitchenAid models: the Artisan and Classic. To understand more about the two models, in this blog, we share the difference between KitchenAid Artisan versus the Classic stand mixer. Read on.

KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer

The KitchenAid Artisan is a tilt-head stand mixer that is ten-speed five-quarts and its motor is rated at 325 watts. Although it has a similar design profile to the Classic model, it does offer some differences in terms of performance and size. It offers a more powerful motor and a larger mixing bowl. It can handle enough bread dough to make 4 standard-sized loaves and enough raw ingredients to produce nine dozen cookies. This model also comes with a pouring shield and the stainless steel mixing bowl features a handle.

Summing up

With the above-listed models, which one should you pick? Well, this depends on your needs and budget as the Classic is smaller than the KitchenAid Artisan stand mixer model and is best suited for occasional use. When you are shopping and you have a bit more on your budget, then an Artisan stand mixer is a larger and more capable appliance. Search for a reputable supplier that offers a range of KitchenAid appliances at reasonable prices.
